John Pawson has made, along with the Italian company Salvatori, the flag 'House of Stone', exhibited in the Think Tank space during Milan Design Week.
For the construction of the house has used recycled granite by 99 percent and natural resin as a bonding agent, the remaining one percent. The building has openings in the edges and in the middle. Inside, the linear lighting using LEDs mark the shape of the structure, and emphasizes the texture of the stone surface. The pavilion be established next year in the park of the Milan Triennial.
Here light acts as a building material, which provides a variety of possibilities to make different effects on the building or built environment.
